What is more fun than competing with your studio? PERFORMING with new friends and finding the camaraderie that is born in our dance companies. Dancers from all different studios come together in Cathy’s dance companies, and not only do they become the best of friends, they actually end up cheering for each other when we get to the “competition”.  Take the stress OUT and put the fun IN to the competition week!

Cathy’s National Finals offer dancers incredible performing opportunities in addition to competing. Our Dance Spectacular is by invitation in each regional city, and closes at 50 dancers, so make sure you RSVP right away.  Rehearsals start all day, Tues. July 10 and continue each morning. The 2011  Dance Spectacular Dancing to Wonderful Songs was a  30 minute performance choreographed to the music of Stevie Wonder.

The  Algy Costumes Fashion Show event is a 20 minute choreographed runway fashion show at National Finals, with filmings and photo shoots to be displayed on the Algy web site. Like the Dance Spectacular, participation is by invitations given in each regional city, and the cast closes at 50 dancers, so send in your RSVP as soon as you can! Rehearsals start all day, Tues. July 10 and continue each morning.

The A&P Dance Company is by registration, and is open to all dancers 9 years and older.
This dance company will be getting training and performance experience for the film and television industry. The Theme is "I want my MTV". 

As Cathy Roe has extensive background in film and television, and director Cindy has been the videographer and editor for many of her videos/DVDs, they will train the company for film performance. Cathy Roe, along with 4 other choreographers  will be working with the dancers to produce short Music Videos starring the A&P Dance Co!.
A&P Dancers meet with Cathy Roe and the choreographers on Tues., July 10 for an all day "audition". The choreographers will post their routines on youtube in mid-June so the dancers can practice ahead of time.

At the audition, dancers will be divided in to groups and cast. Each morning rehearsal with the choreographers run from 8:00 a.m. until noon.

The A&P will NOT be doing "live proscenium performances" on the stage like the Dance Spectacular. Instead, their "performances" will be video shoots in the black box Theater, in more of a Cabaret style. During the filmings, seats will be set up for an audience in the black box theater. But the performance emphasis will be to "play to the camera". (so fun!)
We will debut a " Premier Showing " of all 10 "music videos" on our website in early August.

Cathy's Favorite Shopping in Mason! If you love “retail therapy”, Mason is the place!
The new Deerfield Town Center is retail heaven, with over 65 high end FUN stores and boutiques.

Cathy’s  all time favorite store (dancers LOVE it) is Charming Charlies. Be careful, you could be in there for DAYS and still not want to leave!

And the second favorite? It has to be Arhous.  Oh goodness, the ideas you can get in there about everything you could EVER want in your home. Get ready to feast your eyes!

Of course there are also HUGE indoor malls, strip malls, movie theaters, restaurants everywhere. But check out the Deerfield Town Center for sure.

Just 30 minutes away in Cincinnatti...there are many more fun things to do!

Master Class Schedule
